Hello!
To celebrate National Pet Day I'm hosting a 24-hour fundraiser for Companion Animal Network Australia (CANA). CANA works to keep pets with their people, and also funds shelters who look after pets who are abandoned and surrendered. I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small. Companion Animal Network Australia is a registered charity representing the companion animal welfare work of our five member agencies. Our movement fights for a society that recognises the incredible value pets have on people and a world where every pet is in a loving home. Together, our members provide rescue, shelter, re-homing, fostering, health care and enrichment services to more than 50,000 animals every year, as well as social programs that advance pet inclusion and welfare in all areas of society. Companion Animal Network Australia promotes the human-animal bond and responsible pet ownership through national campaigns, partnerships and initiatives. We help our members achieve the highest possible standards and facilitate their collaboration in activities that identify and communicate best welfare practice.
